Who Are We?

Members of our dental team include our Business Manager, Office Manager, three Certified Dental Hygienists and three Dental Assistants.

Merla

Merla, our Office Manager, has over twenty years of office/reception experience. She is a loyal, hardworking team member. Her cheerful attitude and hard work has contributed to the success of our practice over the past six years.

Tannis 

Tannis graduated in 2002 from the Denturist Technology program in  Edmonton, Alberta. She continued her education taking a business course and then moved to Brandon in 2004 to carry out her internship as a denturist. Even though her specialty is artificial teeth, her passion for business, customer service and dentistry as a whole, has encouraged her to move to our office to expand her experience and share in Dr. Corbett's vision.

Barb

Barb attended WIAAS in Regina and received her diploma in dental nursing in 1977. She worked as a dental nurse until 1981 when she moved to Winnipeg to study dental hygiene. Since graduating from University of Manitoba, School of Dental Hygiene, Barb has worked in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba. She has worked for Dr. Corbett since November 2000.

Myra

Myra is a Dental Hygienist/Therapist. She brings to our practice 25 years of dental experience. Myra offers significant experience working with youth, adult and elderly clients. She believes in building a solid relationship with her patients which helps her provide the therapy for their excellent oral health.

Diane

Diane received her dental assisting diploma from Red River Community College and has worked in both Dauphin and Brandon. She took a hiatus from dental assisting for a couple of years and joined our team in 2007. Diane brings to us a wealth of experience in dentistry and a great smile!

Joe

Joe was born in  Winnipeg and spent four years in Newfoundland before moving to Brandon. He graduated from the SIAST Dental Hygiene program in 1999. He plays bass guitar, enjoys hockey, football and karaoke. He has lived here in Brandon for two years with his wife and daughter. Joe is enjoying living in the Wheat City and looks forward to seeing you soon.

Holly

Holly moved to Brandon in February 2008 from Borden, Ontario but originally hails from the east coast. She graduated from Dental Assistant school with honours in Spring 2007. Before entering the dental fields, Holly worked as a cardiology technician in Fredericton, NB. Holly also has a BA in anthropology from St. Francis Xavier University. She enjoys cooking, travelling and talking to patients. She now lives with her husband, fat dog and bad cat at CFB Shilo.

Donna

Donna is the Business Manager. Donna has 20 years management experience and it is her job to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Donna has a college diploma in Business Administration from Assiniboine Community College where she graduated with honours. Donna focuses on practice management, community relations and developing new business for the practice.
