DR. TRUDY L.
CORBETT
Biography
Dr. Trudy L.
Corbett was born and raised in Sussex, New Brunswick. Upon
graduation from high school, she spent two years studying at McGill
University following which she attended the University of
Western Ontario where she
obtained her dental degree. Dr. Corbett practiced general dentistry
in British Columbia for two years before returning to school at the
University of Manitoba for her specialty training in periodontics.
She has been practicing as a Certified Specialist in Periodontics
since 1996. Dr. Corbett opened her full time periodontal
practice in Brandon, Manitoba in 1998.
In addition to
her full-time private practice, Dr. Corbett teaches part-time in
the Graduate Periodontics Program at the University of
Manitoba.
Dr Corbett
believes in the importance of community. She is a board member of
the Brandon United Way, serves on the Brandon Chamber of Commerce
government relations committee and volunteers at the Brandon Humane
Society.
Dr. Corbett
enjoys providing periodontal services to the people throughout
southwestern Manitoba and eastern Saskatchewan. Her focus has
been, and will continue to be, service excellence. In May 2006, she
was the recipient of the 2006 Manitoba Woman Entrepreneur of the
Year Award for Excellence in Service.
In her spare
time, Dr. Corbett enjoys cycling, cross country skiing, gardening
and attending the performing arts.
